tsp is the level measurement of a liquid or dry powder held on a typical teaspoon.
- 1 tsp = 5 grams of powder
- 1 tsp = 5ml of liquid
- 1 teaspoon = 0.21 fluid ounce
- 3 teaspoons = 1 tablespoon (tblsp or tbp)
(These are for the metric teaspoon)
There is a slight variation between the British teaspoon and the American teaspoon.
- 1 UK tsp = ~4.75ml
